Moon Sweepers Power & Production Planner

Last updated · based on game version 1.0.4

Enter how many machines you plan to build. The planner works out the power you need, how many solar panels cover it, and the dust, sand and Moonstone flow per minute at full speed.

Key facts: a Pressure Chamber turns dust into sand 1:1 (1 kg dust → 1 kg sand). The "5 kg per 12 s" figure is its speed, not a 5:1 ratio. A Stone Press turns 1 kg dust + 1 kg sand into 2 kg Moonstone, so the full chain is 2 kg dust → 2 kg Moonstone.

Solar Post–3 kW––$75
Solar Twin (M)–7.5 kW––Not confirmed

At full speed one Pressure Chamber turns up to 25 kg of dust into 25 kg of sand per minute, and one Stone Press uses 10 kg of dust and 10 kg of Moon Sand per minute to make 20 kg of Moonstone. So one chamber makes enough sand for about 2.5 presses. In practice, 1 chamber feeding 2 presses is a simple, balanced setup.

With Solar Twin (M) panels at 7.5 kW, that works out to 2 panels per Pressure Chamber and 3 per Stone Press.

Why process dust at all?

Processed materials sell for more per kilogram: Moon Sand about 3× raw dust, and Moonstone about 7×. Because the chain keeps the weight (2 kg dust → 2 kg Moonstone), turning dust into Moonstone multiplies what the same dust is worth by roughly 7×.

Players have tested this in game: two 1 kg dust capsules worth about $1.28 each became one 2 kg Moonstone that sold for about $17.92. Exact prices depend on your upgrades and bonuses.

Is it worth building? If dust is piling up faster than you can sell it, yes. If you are short on dust, more sweepers or robot vacuums usually pay off first.

Placement tips

Not confirmed yet: the Solar Twin (M) price, and how full a Pressure Chamber must be before it starts a cycle. If you know either from your game, tell us and we will add it.
